| Descripció |
English: The picture is a Greek Catholic icon depicting the prophet Gideon with the roll of fleece in his hands. The icon was painted in the end of the 18th century as part of the iconostasis of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Gideon's icon is placed on the third tier of the iconostasis, the so called Prophets tier. This icon is the fifth painting from the right.
Magyar: A kép Gedeon próféta görög katolikus ikonját ábrázolja, kezében a történetében leírt gyapjúval. Az ikont a 18. század végén festették, a hajdúdorogi görög katolikus székesegyház ikonosztázára. Gedeon ikonját az ikonosztáz harmadik sorában, az úgynevezett Próféta sorban találhatjuk. Ez az ikon a sorban jobbról az ötödik festmény. |
