Descripció
English: The destruction wrought on Granollers after a raid by German aircraft on 31 May 1938. The photographer, Winifred Bates, was involved with the British Medical Mission to Spain which worked with the Republican Forces and the International Brigades. Mrs Bates' husband, Ralph, joined the International Brigades. Winifred Bates took photographs to inform and elicit support for the Republican cause in England.
