Ailia coila és una espècie de peix de la família dels esquílbids i l'única del gènere Ailia.

Reproducció [modifica]
És ovípar i els ous no són protegits pels pares.[6]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix pelàgic i de clima tropical.[4]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba a Àsia: el Pakistan,[7][8] l'Índia,[9][10][11][12][13] Bangladesh[14][15][16] i el Nepal.[17][4]
