Archamia fucata és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels apogònids.[5]

Descripció[modifica]

  • Pot arribar a fer 10 cm de llargària màxima (normalment, en fa 5,9).
  • 7 espines i 9 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 2 espines i 15-18 radis tous a l'anal.[6][7][8]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, associat als esculls[9] i de clima tropical (30°N-23°S) que viu entre 2 i 60 m de fondària.[6][10]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del mar Roig[11] i la costa oriental d'Àfrica[12] fins a les illes Marshall, Samoa,[13] Tonga, les illes Ryukyu[14][15][16] i el nord d'Austràlia.[17][6][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41][42][43][44][45][46][47][48][49][50][51][52]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans i de costums nocturns.[53][6]
