Argyrosomus hololepidotus és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciènids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja peixos, crancs, gambes i cucs.[8]

Depredadors[modifica]

A Sud-àfrica és depredat per Argyrosomus hololepidotus, Lichia amia i Arctocephalus pusillus pusillus.[9][10]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix de clima subtropical (13 °C-24 °C)[11] i demersal que viu fins als 400 m de fondària.[12][7]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Índic: Madagascar, Austràlia, l'Índia, l'Iran[13] i Maurici.[14][12][15][16][17][18][19]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[7]
