Asterropteryx ensifera és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Menja zooplàncton.[3]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 6-40 m de fondària.[1][4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des del Mar Roig fins a les Illes de la Societat, les Illes Yaeyama, Nova Guinea i les Illes Marshall (la Micronèsia).[1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[1]
