Bathyraja matsubarai és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Reproducció[modifica]
És ovípar[4] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[6]
Alimentació[modifica]
Els exemplars petits mengen crancs i anèl·lids, mentre que els adults es nodreixen de peixos i cefalòpodes.[7]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 120-2.000 m de fondària.[4][8]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic nord-occidental: el Japó[9] i la Mar d'Okhotsk.[4][7][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
