Bathyraja violacea és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.[4]

Reproducció[modifica]

És ovípar[5] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 20-1.110 m de fondària.[5][7]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des de Hokkaido (el Japó) fins a la Península de Kamtxatka.[5][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
