És un peix demersal i de clima tropical.[2]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'Índia,[4][5][6] Sri Lanka,[7] Bangladesh,[8] Birmània, Tailàndia,[9][10] Indonèsia, Brunei i Malàisia, i incloent-hi la zona de marees del riu Mekong.[11][2][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Ús comercial[modifica]
Es comercialitza principalment fresc.[18]
