És un peix de clima tropical i demersal.[4]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba a l'Índia, Tailàndia, Hong Kong, Indonèsia, Nova Guinea, el Golf Pèrsic[6] i Àfrica[7][4][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
Observacions [modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
