Canthigaster coronata és una espècie de peix de la família dels tetraodòntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

Morfologia [modifica]
Alimentació [modifica]
Menja una àmplia varietat d'organismes bentònics: gasteròpodes, esponges de mar, algues, bivalves, poliquets, tunicats, eriçons de mar, briozous, cucs, petits crustacis i foraminífers.[6]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 6-100 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des del Mar Roig fins a Sodwana Bay (Sud-àfrica), les Hawaii, el sud del Japó i Nova Gal·les del Sud (Austràlia).[4][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40]
