Cephaloscyllium umbratile és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciliorínids i de l'ordre dels carcariniformes.

Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí de clima subtropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 20-200 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des del Japó fins al Mar de la Xina Meridional.[4][7][8][9][10][11]
