Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (Kelvedon, 19 de juny de 1834 – Alps Marítims, 31 de gener de 1892).[1] Fou un predicador britànic calvinista baptístic. Adscrit a la Confessió de 1689. Encara és conegut per la gent com el "Príncep dels Predicadors".[2]
Es calcula que Spurgeon va evangelitzar prop de de 10 milions de persones.[3] Sovint predicava 10 cops a la setmana en diferents llocs.
els seus sermons han estat traduïts a molts idiomes i actualment, existeixen més llibres i escrits de Spurgeon que de qualsevol altre escriptor cristià.[4]
Les seves restes es troben enterrades al cementiri de West Norwood Cemetery a West Norwood, Anglaterra.
