  • L'OLPC es produeix actualment per 195-210$. L'objectiu és produir un portàtil per 100$. No està disponible per a usuaris privats, només per a governs que en facin grans comandes. Existeix el projecte anomenat "Give one Get one" que fa possible comprar un OLPC sempre que se'n faci una donació d'un altre.[10]
