És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat.[5]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental: el Japó, la península de Corea i Taiwan.[5][8][9][10][11][12][13]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
