La llengüeta blanca, gobi cristal·lí, jonquillo, xanguet[4] o cabotí[5] (Crystallogobius linearis) és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[6] El nom del seu gènere fa referència a la seva transparència.

Morfologia[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

La fresa té lloc quan arriben a l'any d'edat i els ous, en forma de pera,[9] són protegits pel mascle.[10]

Alimentació[modifica]

S'alimenta de zooplàncton.[11]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Trisopterus minutus[12] i Chelidonichthys gurnardus.[13]

Hàbitat[modifica]

Viu en zones de clima temperat (70°N - 35°N, 11°W - 25°E) entre 1 - 400 m de fondària i sobre fons fangosos i/o sorrencs.[14][8]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Viu al Mediterrani occidental, a l'Atlàntic nord-occidental (des de Lofotens, Noruega, fins a Gibraltar) i a l'illa de Madeira.[15][5]

Observacions[modifica]

Té una longevitat d'1 any.[16]
