El gobi de quatre taques, burret, cabot, cabot de quatre taques, gòbit de quatre taques o ruc (Deltentosteus quadrimaculatus) és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Els mascles poden assolir 8 cm de longitud total.^[5]^[6]

Depredadors[modifica]

A l'Estat espanyol és depredat per Ophichthus rufus,^[7] Lepidorhombus boscii, Lepidorhombus whiffiagonis i Chelidonichthys lucernus, i a França per Zeus faber.^[8]^[9]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima subtropical i demersal que viu fins als 333 m de fondària.^[5]^[10]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a Algèria,^[11] Gibraltar, Grècia,^[12] Itàlia, el Líban, Malta,^[13] Eslovènia i Turquia.^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]^[22]^[23]^[24]^[25]^[26]^[27]^[28]^[29]^[30]

És inofensiu per als humans.^[5]
