Dendrochirus biocellatus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.[5]

Descripció [modifica]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical (32°N-18°S) que viu entre 1-40 m de fondària.[6][8]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des de Maurici, la Reunió, les Maldives i Sri Lanka fins a les illes de la Societat i el sud del Japó.[6][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]
Costums [modifica]
És nocturn i durant el dia roman fora de la vista refugiat dins de coves i porífers.[23]
Observacions [modifica]
És verinós per als humans.[6][24]
