Diaphus coeruleus és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Depredadors[modifica]
Al Japó és depredat per Synagrops japonicus, Caelorinchus smithi, Congriscus megastomus, Diaphus coeruleus i Neoscopelus macrolepidotus.[6]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 457-549 m de fondària.[4][7]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Mar Roig[8][9][10] i la Mar d'Andaman,[11] Papua Nova Guinea,[12] Indonèsia,[13] Taiwan,[14] les Illes Chesterfield,[15] Austràlia[16] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[4][17]
