Diaphus mollis és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Reproducció[modifica]
Assoleix la maduresa sexual quan arriba als 3 cm de longitud.[6]
Depredadors[modifica]
És depredat per Stenella attenuata.[7]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 50-600 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des del Marroc fins a Namíbia,[8][9] des del Canadà fins a l'Argentina, a l'Índic, al Pacífic (incloent-hi la Mar de Tasmània)[10] i al Mar de la Xina Meridional.[11][12][4][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]
