Greetings! Can someone do an English translation of this Catalan text? Please? As exchange I offer all the picture files which you find in the German Cap de Creus article. Thanks! Grey Geezer (disc.) 17:01, 2 jul 2014 (CEST)[respon]

@Grey Geezer: Well, the first part is a poem, and is very difficult to translate poetry!. The best I can do with my low level of English is this literal translation:

"The light at the edge of the world"
at the lighthouse made of props
illuminated so little time
which was like a sleeping. (or like a dream)
To be short you were built
and if you were not demolished
you would have a long future
and you would be infinite.
(H. Gispert)

The second part is a much simpler text:

In this environment was made the shooting of the film "The Light at the Edge of the World" with actors as Yul Briner, Kirk Douglas, Samantha Eggar, and Fernando Rey. Because of this movie, it was built in July 1970 over Sa Punta de sa Clavaguera a hexagonal lighthouse. It was demolished in November 1998.

Hope this helps you, despite my bad English.!--Carles (enraonem) 00:10, 3 jul 2014 (CEST)[respon]

I forgot the title: "Ajuntament" means City hall or Rathaus, so the title is City hall of Cadaqués.--Carles (enraonem) 00:20, 3 jul 2014 (CEST)[respon]
