Etmopterus princeps és una espècie de peix de la família dels dalàtids i de l'ordre dels esqualiforms.

És ovovivípar.[5]

Hàbitat [modifica]

És un peix marí d'aigües profundes que viu entre 300-2213 m de fondària.[3][6]

Distribució geogràfica [modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic nord-occidental (des de Nova Escòcia -Canadà-[6] fins a Nova Jersey -Estats Units-)[7] i a l'Atlàntic nord-oriental (des del sud d'Islàndia[8] fins a les Illes Fèroe[9], les Hèbrides[10], el Canal de la Mànega, la Mar Cantàbrica, Gibraltar i Mauritània).[3][11][12][13]
