Foa brachygramma és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels apogònids.[5]

Descripció[modifica]

  • Pot arribar a fer 8 cm de llargària màxima.
  • 9 espines i 9 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 2 espines i 8-9 radis tous a l'anal.[6][7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, d'aigua dolça i salabrosa; bentònic; bentopelàgic; associat als esculls[8] i de clima tropical (36°N-32°S, 29°E-154°W) que viu entre 0-134 m de fondària.[6][9][10]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental[11][12][13] fins a les illes Hawaii,[14][15] el sud del Japó[16][17] i les illes Mariannes.[6][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
