Alimentació[modifica]
És omnívor i la seua dieta inclou invertebrats (sobretot, gambes) i peixets.[7]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima temperat.[5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un endemisme d'Austràlia.[5][8][9]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
