Heterophotus ophistoma és una espècie de peix de la família dels estòmids i de l'ordre dels estomiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 790-1.420 m de fondària.[2][4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental (des del Sàhara Occidental fins a Namíbia),[5] l'Atlàntic occidental (des de Bermuda fins al Brasil, incloent-hi el Carib),[6][7] l'Índic[8] i el Pacífic.[9][2][10][11][12][13][14]
