Himantura undulata és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels dasiàtids.[5]

Reproducció [modifica]
És ovovivípar.[8][9]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima tropical (30°N-24°S).[6]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des de la badia de Bengala fins a Nova Guinea, les illes Ryukyu i el nord d'Austràlia.[10][11] És absent de l'Índic occidental.[6][12][13][14][15][16]
Observacions [modifica]
És verinós per als humans i emprat comercialment per la seua carn, pell (d'alt valor) i cartílag.[17][6]
