This map has a very low vector quality, looking more like a wood cut illustration than a map.
Two EU countries are omitted!
Hatching colors in Norway and Iceland and color for Monaco cannot be distinguished on monitors easily.
Hatching colors cannot be distinguished when printed in a 4C process
Legend colors fit this SVG map, but have been applied to the PNG, too, which has different colors.

To make sure everyone understand:

1. The "basic" european map (in SVG) is CC-SA + GFDL 2. The coloured PNG map (in PNG) is Public Domain 3. I have combined both, aka, I have taken data from the PNG and have added that data to the SVG.

My own work is released in Public Domain but since the "basic" European SVG Map is CC-SA + GFDL, I suppose the whole suff (a derivative) is CC-SA + GFDL..
