Leucoraja garmani és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Reproducció[modifica]
És ovípar[4] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[5]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja principalment crustacis decàpodes i, secundàriament, amfípodes, poliquets, calamars i peixos.[2]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí, de clima subtropical (9 °C-17 °C)[6] i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 55–530 m de fondària.[2][7]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Atlàntic occidental: des del sud de Nova Anglaterra fins al sud de Florida (els Estats Units).[2][8][9][10][11][12][13]
Ús comercial[modifica]
Es comercialitza fresc i salat.[14]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[2]
