Liocranium és un gènere de peixos pertanyent a la família dels tetrarògids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[1][2]

Etimologia[modifica]

Liocranium deriva dels mots del grec antic λεῖος (leios, suau) i κρανίον (kranion, crani).[3][4]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a la conca Indo-Pacífica: les illes Filipines,[5][6] Indonèsia[5][7] i el nord d'Austràlia[8][9][10][11][12][13] (Austràlia Occidental[14][15] -incloent-hi l'arxipèlag Dampier[16][17]-, el Territori del Nord,[18][19] Queensland[20][5][21][22][23] i la Gran Barrera de Corall).[24][25]
