Menja peixos i crustacis.[6]

Hàbitat [modifica]

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 2-40 m de fondària.[4][7]

Distribució geogràfica [modifica]

Es troba des del Golf Pèrsic i el Golf d'Oman[8] fins a Fiji i el sud del Japó.[9][4][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
