Mesocottus haitej és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels còtids i l'única del gènere Mesocottus.[4]

Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima temperat.[5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Mongòlia i Rússia.[5][7][8][9][10]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
