Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba a Nord-amèrica: el Canadà (entre d'altres, el Quebec, Alberta[3] i Ontàrio)[4][5][6], els Estats Units (com ara, Alabama[7], Arkansas, Virgínia[8], Tennessee[9], Geòrgia, Carolina del Nord, Vermont, Maryland, Nova York, Texas[10][11], Minnesota, Illinois[12], Iowa, Dakota del Nord, Wisconsin [13], Oklahoma, Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri[14][15] i Mississipí)[16] i Mèxic[17], incloent-hi les conques dels Grans Llacs d'Amèrica del Nord, de la badia de Hudson i dels rius Mississippí[18], Roanoke, Lerma, Potomac, Apalachicola i Ohio.[19][20][21][22][23]
