Naso tonganus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels acantúrids.[2]
Descripció[modifica]
- Pot arribar a fer 60 cm de llargària màxima.
- 5 espines i 27-30 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 2 espines i 26-28 radis tous a l'anal.[3][4]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja algues i zooplàncton.[5]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí, associat als esculls i de clima tropical.[3]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental fins a les illes Samoa, incloent-hi la Micronèsia.[3][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
