Alimentació [modifica]

Es nodreix principalment d'algues.[8][9]

Hàbitat [modifica]

És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical (16°S-17°S).[6]

Distribució geogràfica [modifica]

És un endemisme d'Austràlia: els rius Gilbert, Norman i Flinders.[6][10][11][12]

Observacions [modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
