Rajella leopardus és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.[2]
Morfologia[modifica]
Reproducció[modifica]
És ovípar[3] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[5]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja crustacis bentònics, lluços, sípies i poliquets.[6]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 170-1.920 m de fondària.[3][7]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Atlàntic oriental: Guinea, Mauritània, Namíbia, el Senegal, Sud-àfrica i el Sàhara Occidental.[8][9][10][11]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
