Salarias fasciatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels blènnids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

A Austràlia és depredat per Plectropomus leopardus.[7][8]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 0-8 m de fondària.[4][9]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des del Mar Roig[10] i l'Àfrica Oriental fins a Samoa, les Illes Ryukyu, la Gran Barrera de Corall[11] i Nova Caledònia.[4][12][13][14] [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24] [25][26]
