El soft rock ( ‘rock suau’) és un estil musical, que es distingeix d'altres tipus de rock per l'ús de distorsions poc saturades en les guitarres, melodies fàcilment assimilables i lletres poc controvertides. Altres denominacions, com AOR (adult oriented rock: ‘rock orientat a adults’), es refereixen bàsicament al mateix fenomen.
