Taaningichthys minimus és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 90-800 m de fondària.[4]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic (40°N-20°N), l'Índic (20°S-30°S), el Pacífic occidental (Nova Zelanda) i el Pacífic central i nord-oriental (35°N-12°N).[4][7][8][9][10][6][11][12][13][14][15][16]
