Tarletonbeania crenularis és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.[5]

Morfologia[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[7]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja eufausiacis.[8]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Stenella attenuata[9] i, als Estats Units, per Thunnus alalunga i Sebastes entomelas.[10][11][12]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 0-710 m de fondària.[6][13]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic oriental: des del sud-est d'Alaska fins a Mèxic, incloent-hi el Golf d'Alaska i la Mar de Bering.[14][6][7][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]
