Triodon macropterus és una espècie de peix i l'única de la família dels triodòntids.

Morfologia [modifica]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 50-300 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental fins a les Filipines, el Japó, Austràlia, Nova Caledònia i Tonga.[5][4][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][5][17][18][19]
Observacions [modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
