"Kuru köfte" (literally dry meatballs) are a "köfte" dish from the Turkish cuisine. These cylindrical köftes (also rarely as meat "balls" as in the image) are eaten cold. This picture was taken at the traditional Turkish cuisine restaurant "Yanyalı Fehmi" in Kadıköy.

Mantı turco, practico, hecho utilizando unos macarrones tipo "mantı" que se venden en el mercado. El relleno (carne, cebolla, ajo, sal y especias) se llena a la pasta cruda y después se cocinan todos juntos 8-11 minutos, dependiendo de los macarrones y el gusto de cada uno. Las salsas de tomate y yogurt se agregan al servir el plato.

In the Turkish "kebapçı" (kebap restaurant) culture, when you ask for a kebap, generally, the restaurant serves (on the house) various little plates of accompanyment for the meat. These may be, as seen in the picture, grilled or caramelized onions, other grilled vegetables like tomato and pepper (or an entire garlic), chopped raw onions (sometimes "killed" with a salt bath) acompanied by chopped parsley and "sumak", çoban salata or another Turkish salad ("mevsim" etc), "ezme" (a pepper-based meze), patlıcan salata (eggplant salad) or aubergine purée and "lebeni", a fresh summer dish (which is sometimes also eaten as a cold soup with added water) with yogurt and "yarma" -a wheat subproduct. All this is -mostly- included in the price of one kebap plate.

Tengo hambre[modifica]

Tengo hambre por vacacionar, ver gente alegre, conocer nuevos lugares, comer mucho y bien, probar nuevas cosas, fumar y beber cuando quiera (y no cuando pueda) y no preocuparme por las cosas diarias como comprar pan, o no olvidar de cerrar bien las ventanas al acostarme. Así que pronto me voy de vacas. Posiblemente -si es que no hago otro antes de partir- no veréis muchos "articles de menjar de la cuina turca", con nombres difíciles de pronunciar, por lo menos por un par de semanas. No digo que no voy a editar nada, porque si veo un error de ortografia lo corrijo, especialmente los castellanismos. :-) Además me han dicho que no hay que decir "mai" nunca! (Por otro lado hasta aprendí como usar el internet de mi teléfono. :) A ver si vuelvo con algo nuevo o no... Adeu. --E4024 (disc.) 16:00, 24 jul 2015 (CEST)
