Val Kilmer, nascut Val Edward Kilmer (Los Angeles, Califòrnia, 31 de desembre de 1959) és un actor estatunidenc de teatre i de cinema.
Va estudiar a la Juilliard School, i va fer-se popular a mitjans de la dècada del 1980 gràcies a la seva aparició en comèdies com Top Secret! (1984), en pel·lícules d'acció com Top Gun, així com també a Willow.
Durant la dècada del 1990 va guanyar el respecte de la crítica després de la seva interpretació de Jim Morrison a la pel·lícula The Doors i les seves actuacions a Tombstone (1993) i Batman Forever (1995).
Va estar casat amb l'actriu Joanne Whalley (1988 - 1996), amb qui té dos fills.
