Història

Play-off per The Championship el 2006 entre Leeds United i Watford

El Watford FC va ser fundat el 1881 com a Watford Rovers. El 1891 canvià el seu nom a West Herts Club. El 1898 esdevingué Watford FC després d'absorbir el seu rival local Watford St. Mary’s. Mai ha aconseguit cap títol important al futbol anglès.
