Xiphister és un gènere de peixos de la família dels estiquèids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[4]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic oriental: des de l'illa Kodiak i el sud-est d'Alaska[5][6] (els Estats Units) fins a l'illa Santa Creu (Califòrnia, els Estats Units) i el nord de Baixa Califòrnia[7] (Mèxic), incloent-hi la costa pacífica del Canadà (la Colúmbia Britànica).[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]
