Resum
| Descripció |
Español: El Tanquetazo o Tancazo fue un fallido golpe de estado en contra del gobierno socialista de la Unidad Popular del presidente Salvador Allende, en Chile. Ocurrió el 29 de junio de 1973, y fue liderado por el Teniente Coronel Roberto Souper, del Regimiento Blindado Nº2.
Se le denominó "Tanquetazo" porque los rebeldes usaron primordialmente tanques y carros de combate pesados. La sublevación fue sofocada con éxito por los soldados leales al Comandante en Jefe del Ejército, Carlos Prats. |
