| Descripció |
English: Salisbury Cathedral Photographed from Town Path. The spire of the cathedral reaches a height of 404 feet, and is the tallest spire in the United Kingdom. The tip of the spire leans 29 inches to the south-west. External building work commenced in 1986, and is expected to be completed in 2015. At present, scaffolding can be seen on the north of the cathedral (left of picture), resulting in the loss of illumination.
