Alpamayo[1][2] (possiblement del Quítxua allpa Terra, mayu riu,[3] "riu de la Terra") o Shuyturaju[2][4][5] és un dels pics més conspicus de la Cordillera Blanca dels Andes del Perú[1]
Des del 1966, diverses publicacions l'han descrit com un dels cims més bells del món.[6][7][8][9]
