Apogon és un gènere de peixos de la família dels apogònids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[2]

Descripció[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

Els mascles, principalment, incuben els ous dins llurs boques.[3]

Hàbitat[modifica]

Apogon notatus

La majoria de les espècies d'aquest gènere viuen al voltant dels 200 m de fondària o més.[4]
