Cottus poecilopus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels còtids.

Descripció[modifica]

  • Fa 15 cm de llargària màxima (normalment, en fa 11,8).[5][6][7]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja algues (incloent-hi diatomees), poliquets, crustacis, larves i crisàlides d'insectes aquàtics (Ephemeroptera, Trichoptera, Plecoptera i Chironomidae), i ous i larves de peixos.[5]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix demersal i de clima temperat (72°N-36°N, 10°E-171°E).[5][8]

Longevitat[modifica]

La seua esperança de vida és de 8 anys.[23]
