Diaphus hudsoni és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Trachurus capensis, Merluccius capensis (a Namíbia), Merluccius paradoxus (Namíbia)[5] i Genypterus capensis.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu fins als 840 m de fondària.[3]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic sud,[7][8][9] el Pacífic[10] i certes zones de l'Índic.[3][11][12][13]
